In Loving Memory

Our son was a "hero" when he testified against his teacher at the age of 10. The teacher went to prison for 155 years. There were pictures & memories that haunted him of his "sexual abuse". After the trial was over he never wanted to talk about it again. He kept everything inside until he was about 25, he was at a drug rehab place, a counselor convinced him to talk about his abuse. He did start telling people & he was amazed at the reaction he got. Many people thanked him for telling his story and told him that hearing his story helped them face some demons. He then talked about writing a book, he drew a logo in 2007 called "Staight Up SolGier" - we registered a website to help him to tell his story. We never knew what would make him return to drugs...he was found in a hotel room on October 8, 2011 unresponsive. He was with a girl that could have made the call to save this life.

The loss of a child is the worst thing a parent can live with. Prayers and love to you, your family and the many friends of Mike. May your story help at least one person hiding from past abuse in the lying arms of alcohol and drugs; and bring them into the light of healing. Peace and love Brother, I hope you're enjoying the best Beaches ever up there in Heaven! Ohana <3 |
Many many blessings to you, Michael, and to those who love you. You are never alone. |
