Nicky was my firstborn, my son, my friend. He was a good kid with a big heart and a big smile. He had great potential but got caught up in something (drugs) that he couldn't beat. An injured knee and the death of his father coupled with girlfriend
problems became too much for him. He turned to self medicating. He used to say to me, "Mom, all I want is to be happy." I hope he has found that happiness now. Nothing can hurt him anymore. I miss him so much. It was 1 year this past Sunday. It seems like just yesterday. Nick, I live everyday on the memories that you left me. I love you and I can't wait to see you and hug you once again! Mommy<3
