In Loving Memory

Josh, or Bruce as he was called by those closest to him, was my stepfather for many, many years. I feel like I knew him better than I know my "real" father, who is still alive. He taught my twin brother and I many things, from how to make pancakes to how to swing on a swing to how to tie our shoes...and the thing he taught us NOT to do was the very thing that he did himself: use heroin. I had a hard time getting over his death, and I believe that I am through the worst part but this is something that will always stay with me.
Candles

Though I didn't know you, I saw it was the anniversary of your passing and I wanted to light a candle in your honor. Rest in peace Josh.
