In Loving Memory

Stefan Novotny never meant to die. He didn't intend for any of this to happen. Stefan was a brilliant, young, and talented artist. He turned thirty on March 18th this year. His skill was enormous, but he and all of his closest relatives, loved ones and fans knew that he was only just now beginning to come into his own. Stefan was finally discovering his uniqueness, his boldness, his voice... A naturally humble self-deprecating soul, Stefan was, only recently starting to believe in himself. His brush strokes had never been so sure and confident. And yet, on April 20th, a Monday like any other, or so it seemed, he excused himself from rehearsal for the play for which he'd painted the set and disappeared. He did his creative work on earth, the work that angels do. Angels, no matter how long they stay, are too passionate to be here long. Certainly not long enough for the rest of us . But angel fire is what he had. And the fire of a passionate heart.
Stefan Novotny came to this earth. And he made art.
We love and miss you everyday. Your spot in our heart will never be filled. With much love, Katie, Wolfgang, Phillip, Lea, Andrea, Stefanie, Abby and all your other loved ones.
