In Loving Memory

Laurence (Larry) M. Ewing was born on July 20, 1963 in Buffalo, New York. He was always a social butterfly and never met a stranger. Larry was a wonderful man with a terrific sense of humor and would do anything he could to help someone in need. A great cook, Larry often cooked for the homeless people of Fredericksburg. He could make anyone laugh and had an amazing personality. Under the surface of laughter and jokes, Larry turned to alcohol to cope with the demons he faced. The alcohol soon became an overwhelming addiction that he couldnt ignore or live without. On September 17, 2004 at the age of 41, Larry passed away. Alcohol - what he thought would be an escape from his reality killed him. Not a day goes by that he doesnt cross our minds. He was the funniest person we knew Now our lives are sadder without him.
We love and miss you Larry.
Love,
Mom, Melinda, and Melissa

You are in my thoughts daily. You had so much potential and your death was such an unecessary thing. I so wish you could have seen the great, fun and loving man everyone else saw and was able to leave the alcohol alone. It changed you. No matter what was going on in your life, I always loved you and always will. I hope just 1 person learned from the loss of you and made different choices. See you again one day. |
Gone to sight never in the heart |
It's hard to believe it's been 6 years. I miss the sound of your voice and the way you could make everyone laugh. Love you always, Melissa |
